White Crochet, The Spring Staple

white crochet springWHITE CROCHET BLOUSE / LIGHT WASH DENIM / LS LAYERING TEEBLOCK HEEL BOOTIES (on sale!) / SADDLE BAG

Yes, I see that snow on the ground too, but it’s almost melted, so we’re going to talk Spring things!

White crochet has always been a style that gets me excited about Spring. There’s something about the pretty details of crochet that I crave after a long winter of knits on knits on knits. I found this white crochet blouse on a total whim and although I loved the style, I was very hesitant to buy when I discovered that it was from an international site.

What can I say though; when I see something I want, there’s no turning back – so I crossed my fingers for a smooth experience and a top that wouldn’t be three sizes too small. Clearly I was pleasantly surprised, as the top fit just perfect (I typically wear a S or a M depending on the brand but went with a M for this one).

Since it’s still a bit chilly here, I layered it with a white long sleeve tee to keep extra cozy. Once it’s warmer, I’ll pair it with a white cami (these are my absolute favorite) or a lace bralette.

This crochet sweater is just so cute! I love how you paired the light sweater with a light wash of denim too. The details on this are just too fun 🙂

Thanks Lauren! I’ve been all about the light, bright look lately! Gearing up for Spring!

I see the snow on the ground over here too, but that doesn’t stop me from thinking spring when it comes to the way I dress and what pieces I wear! I love that we’re slowly transitioning away from all that layering (which is fun like for a month in autumn and then it’s just a pain in the behind) and finally to some lighter pieces. I adore that white crochet on you and hopefully it gets warmer soon!

Same here Thomas! But I will say I don’t love freezing my butt off in Spring clothing while I impatiently wait for this chilly weather to move on out!

I can’t wait for the Spring to come! This crochet trend is so perfect, and just in time for festival season. I can’t get enough of your top. The crochet + the pom pom hem… Does it get any cuter? You always pick out the best statement pieces, that are equally as versatile. Love how you styled it with some grey velvet booties. Such a fun texture contrast!

I’m totally getting this top! I love how you styled it casual and can already picture it in my head in a more dressy way. It doesn’t come with the cami right?

It can totally be dressed up! Would love to see how you style it when you get it! – and no, does not come with a cami. I layered it with a LS tee because it was so chilly!
