When I first started to really take my content seriously for Pineapple & Prosecco, I knew I needed to find a central location or a 'home base' of sorts for my shoots. To be honest, I didn't have the time nor the patience to be in a million different places from week to week, and my goal was to find a location that had a familiar feel, but was still different at the same time. I wanted colors, textures, stand-out architecture for my backgrounds, while maintaining a city feel. Enter SoHo, my now 'home base'.
I get a lot of questions about where exactly I shoot in SoHo, and while it's a small area, it's big enough to not know where to start. Here are some of my areas to explore for my shoots! soho shoot locations
Shop my look:
1 / Corner of Broome + Greene (Isabel Marant)
My favorite part about this location is the stunning architecture that this corner building has to offer. It's neutral tone makes it a great spot for any colorful look, and it's also the perfect location for that quintessential street style feel.
2 / Corner of Spring + Mercer (Blue Building)
Ughhh I die for this location. This is hands down my favorite spot to shoot in SoHo, so much so that I almost don't want to share it (kidding, kind of)! This is another corner spot that has to much depth and texture to it, which photographs beautifully. The greyish blue dark tone pairs beautifully with neutral looks.
3 / Tibi near Wooster + Prince
This multicolored spot with soft pinks and bold blues makes for a great background. Plus, the cobblestone streets bring in SoHo's classic style. I like to shoot pinks and whites here.
4 / Corner of Wooster + Prince (Lululemon)
I always try my best to maximize each shoot within a certain proximity and if you're shooting Tibi, you might as well cross the street and shoot at the adjacent corner of Wooster + Prince near Lululemon! This is another multicolored spot with soft pink and muted white.
5 / Hudson Furniture near Wooster + Spring
This is a great multi-level spot. I always try to mix a location in to my shoots with stairs, in order to mix up my feed. Also a spot right on the cobblestone streets!
6 / Corner of Greene + Prince (Ralph Lauren)
And finally, the location of this exact shoot shown in today's post. The stark white, high columns and detailed texture make for the perfect location. Plus, if you continue walking down Greene, you'll fine a handful of other cute + colorful spots.
