Three New Denim Brands to Keep on Your Radar

Reading Time: 3 minutes

If you told me I could only wear one piece of clothing for the rest of my life it would be a great pair of jeans. Denim has always been my go-to, over dresses, skirts and any anything else what have you, and I don’t intend to change that anytime soon. My family and friends think I’m a bit nuts, with an entire dresser dedicated to jeans spilling out the edges, but what can I say? Doing denim right is my thing.

We all know and love classic denim brands like Paige, Madewell and Citizens of Humanity, to name a few, but today I want to introduce you to three denim brands to keep on your radar this Spring.

new denim brands

1. AYR – Minimal meets luxe with this independent “All Year Round” brand. Jeans are high quality yet give off that low maintenance, easy look we all hope to achieve in jeans. In my photos, I’m wearing “The Form“. This is my favorite wash of denim I have ever owned. It totally pops with classic whites and its raw hem gives the denim some edge.

Price Point: $165-$275

2. GRLFRND – Exclusively available at Revolve, GRLFRND denim has the perfect fit down to a science. The brand combines a vintage denim look with a modern twist, and every pair is prettier than the next. “Even when you think you have found a great pair, it’s never the perfect fit,” says Brand Officer Raissa Gerona, “But that’s exactly what Grlfrnd is. The perfect wash, the perfect fit, and your perfect companion. The more you wear them, the better they get.” One of my favorite things about GRLFRND’s pieces is that they can be custom-embroidered – not something you’d necessarily need for ever jean you own, but definitely a cool add on for that special pair.

Price Point: $250

3. BLANK NYC– This is a brand that just gets denim. I could say the main reason I love BLANK NYC so much because it’s a Manhattan-born brand, but in reality, these designers just know how to do jeans. Many of their jeans combine classic denim with a minimal stretch, making the fit oh-so comfortable. Not to mention, no pair of BNYC denim is the same. Most recently, you’ve seen me in their “Club Kid” style, but you may also recognize one of my favorite pairs of all time from this post!

Price Point: $98 – $128

You are so right! People who don’t love denim see it as all the same but I could tell you the difference between every one of the 50+ pairs I own!

Blank NYC has the best denim! Love, love, love. I’m super intrigued by GRLFRND, though. The fact that they can be custom-embroidered… Oh my gosh. I’m dying from excitement! Thanks so much for the introduction, but I may have some beef to pick with you later if I buy too much. ?

I am SUCH a denim girl. I’m actually really just a pants kind of girl. I have the challenge of shopping for jeans while under 5′ tall…and with wide hips. I’ll have to check these brands out to see if any of them run “shorts”! I hate getting things hemmed…#lazy
