6 Fall DIY’s to Keep You Busy this Month

I am in full-on Fall mode and there's no turning back. Even though we're still enjoying 70-degree days here in New York, I'm starting to feel that change in the air and I'm getting all the Fall feels. For three out of the four seasons of my year, I could care less about crafting. Yet for some reason when Autumn rolls around, I'm all about DIY projects.

There are so many fun crafts to do that are so incredibly easy. I had such a hard time narrowing down this list to six, and almost changed the entire theme of this post to my favorite Fall drink recipes (which I think I'll do next week because I've found some incredible ones), but have alas picked my six favorites!

I'm getting v serious about these DIY's; I've already ordered the candy for my Fall candy cart. Hope some of these inspire you to get a little crafy this season!

1. Pun-Kins

Just try to say the name of this DIY and not smile. It's too good. Studio DIY has done it again with this ridiculously easy project. All you need are some different-sized pumpkins, your favorite color paints (I think the pastel totally makes these but there are so many different color themes you can go with), and some tattoo paper. No stencils required! This is a fun DIY for a girls night or with the kids, and one that I'll definitely be trying out this October.

2. Candy Cart

While I love a good Fall-themed bar cart, this candy cart by Sugar & Charm is totally taking it up a notch, and it's right up my alley. I love the idea of transforming your bar cart into something a little more fun during the Halloween season. The best part? All you need are a few jars, some spiderwebs and your favorite candies.

I have a huge sweet tooth, and Sugarfina's Halloween selection is nothing short of amazing. Here are my recs (Fuji Apple Caramels will always be at the top of my list!):

3. Mini Marbled Pumpkins

There's no excuse not to try this DIY because of how ridiculously easy it is! Who knew lukewarm water and your favorite nail polish could create something so cool?! I love the indigo that Alice and Lois used to create these, but this Fall I am totally feeling emerald.

Sara used both real and faux white pumpkins. If you're wanting to save these for next year, pick these up on Amazon:

4. Succulent Skull

I'm one of those people who loves to keep fresh blooms out all year round. Joe is a sweetheart when it comes to buying me flowers; he's always surprising me with a new bouquet. Needless to say if he wasn't the flower type, I'd still be buying them for myself.

The one type of bloom that will forever be my favorite though, is a succulent. This Sugar & Charm project is perfect for the season, because a succulent will last you all month long (more time to focus on Halloween decor, duh). It's another super easy DIY, using a pre-decorated skeleton skull and a quick trip to your local garden center or florist.

5. Ombre Fall Tablescape

We all know that Team LC knows how to throw a dinner party. This ombre Fall tablescape has been in my "saved projects" pin board since last year and I'm looking for every excuse to try it out this season. Having some fun, colored pieces in your tableware collection can come in handy year round - it's all about how you set the mood with each season! Throw in a few pumpkins and maybe some greenery, and you've got yourself the perfect Fall setup.

Fitz & Floyd's Trestle collection on Amazon is my favorite!

6. Apple + Brown Sugar Body Scrub

Just thinking about the delicious smell of apple + brown sugar makes me so ready to embrace Fall. With all of the tempting baked goods and treats in abundance this season, I love the idea of using some of my favorite Fall ingredients to make something a little different.

This body scrub by Mary Makes Good requires only 7 ingredients, all of which you most likely already have in your home. Would this not make the perfect gift too?!
