Fall has got me feeling all kinds of blue. Just when I thought I’d fallen for every shade, I find a new one. Enter my new love interest: Pantone 647C.
Most often, we equate fall with warm or neutral colors, but this year, Riverside & Airy Blue have thrown a wrench in the plan; and I’m totally okay with it. I found this tie-neck blouse in-store and originally pictured it as a perfect pairing with a light grey or cream pencil skirt for work. Naturally, when I got home, I had to put it on and happened to be wearing a pair of jeans. That’s when I realized what a versatile piece of my wardrobe it would become.
I’ve since interchanged this top between work & weekends and have gotten so many compliments about it’s color. The bell sleeve and tie-neck detail give it the perfect flirty, yet polished look. I like to style it tucked in with skirts & skinnies, and un-tucked or tucked in-front with flares.
I have to tell you, this shoot was much less-graceful than it looked. This day was too windy and the dock had a sign that read, “Enter at Your Own Risk”. Needless to say, I maneuvered mostly barefoot and threw my heels on last second for the shots.
